What is the Do It Yourself (DIY) Festival?

The Do-It-Yourself Festival is actually more of a Do-It-Together Festival; a planned convergence of various teachers, learners, participants, and bystanders for the sake of sharing skills, resources, and energy. DIY questions the uniqueness of the expert's expertise, and promotes the ability of the ordinary person to learn to do more than he or she thought was possible.
