We narrowed these down to 5 panelists: Gilman (housing), ~IndyBay (media), Long Haul (community), 40th Street wherehouse (housing), and Nabbalom Bakery (business) with the idea of a diversity of collectives that may less known or accessible, and with a history of business/coop transitioning
the rest of this list can table. Tom suggested Plea for Peace, a record label group/peace organization (ask Tom for more info) as a "keynote" speaker beforehand
Workshop/tables rainstorm what worked well last semester?
- One complaint about last time was that too many were happening at once
.this time we decided to focus on fewer, longer workshops for skill-intensive activities and encourage folks to have tables with continual informal workshopping obviously most could be either tables or workshops, but we prioritized the BOLD skills as workshops rather than tables)
- Barrington Collective history Wendy from Radical Relationships wkshp (T)
- (idea to have theory wrkshp i.e. what are collectives vs. coops? - with Wendy and Gilman old timers)

- DIY and the Disabled Community lots more needs to be said about this. A friend of mine submitted a proposal to USCA @ making the coops all accessible, and after receiving no response hes trying to organize his own non-USCA accessible coop and wants support. We need to emphasize that DIY is about empowerment, not just hippies making their own tampons (not like theres anything wrong with hippies or DIY tampons)
.(T, I) Gardening Urban Roots? (J)
Tom suggested we incorporate BC goals from last semester, like:
- Skill sharing among group to shift burden off folks who are leaving next
semester
- Outreach
- to houses: announcement at Councils including DIY as a BC event
- to dorms: talk to your RA friends about announcing at Hall ASS meetings (C, I), leave info in SM booths, find out about posting Co-op info session April 9th perfect timing for 5 min blurb on BC and DIY (S)
