things we can learn from santa cruz/ things we want to keep in mind while organizing:

• they had theirs quarterly (once every 3 months) which gives us more time to
  • promote, plan, etc
• ask for classes (instead of taking every person who can teach about
  • anything)
• give teachers contact information, collective information
• get teachers together before the start of the free skool: info packets on
  • teaching, community building, talk about community education
• list pre-reqs, if needed
• advertising (for teachers and students): businesses, craigslist, community
  • colleges, adult schools, highscools, farmer's market, flea market, info booths in the community

• we want to get everyone together to find out waht each other is doing.

ideally in a month or two. -potluck to network
